V-GROOVED WHEELS
Metal Wheels with Machined Groove

A high load capacity wheel for running on inverted angle iron tracks for easy rolling on a controlled path.

The 90° angle V-groove is machined smooth and concentric. The flat surfaces of the tread allow rolling on floors when off the track.

There is 1/8" end play of these wheels when mounted in Bassick casters to allow for variations in track width.

The two smaller wheels are made of semi-steel, cast iron enriched with steel scrap. The two larger wheels are made of a special high tensile malleable iron for greater load capacity and impact resistance.
